There are many prostate disease treatments in clinic
but some limitations still exist. Developing an effective and minimally invasive treatment is an important task. In recent years
with the continuous development and the improvement of ultrasonic technology
the study of low-frequency ultrasound in the treatment of prostate disease is going deeply. Low-frequency ultrasound can not only induce apoptosis and autophagy and inhibit metastasis of prostate cancer cells
but also increase the permeability of cell membrane
resulting in biological effects on prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer tissues. The present paper summarizes the research progress in this field.
