Papillary lesions of the breast are a heterogeneous group of neoplasm. The lesions are always accompanied and affect the overall assessment of breast lesions. Particularly
new classifications of papillary lesions such as encapsulated papillary carcinoma and solid papillary carcinoma which are primary in elderly women are lack of systematic study in radiologic findings. The analysis of breast galactography
radiography
ultrasound
and MRI examinations of papillary lesions is reviewed in the present paper. Compared with the pathological features
the radiologic appearances are summarized to provide a scientific basis for reducing the underestimation rate of papillary lesions of the breast. It also provides theoretical guidance for early detection
accurate diagnosis and timely treatment of atypical hyperplasia
encapsulated papillary carcinoma and solid papillary carcinoma of the breast.
