The status of sentinel lymph node (SLN) has important value in the treatment and prognosis of tumors based on lymphatic metastasis such as breast cancer and melanoma. Percutaneous contrast-enhanced ultrasound (PCEUS) is gradually applied to the localization and qualitative examination of SLN with its advantages of simplicity
economy and non-invasive
and is expected to become an auxiliary means for accurate SLN biopsy (SLNB). This article mainly reviewed the research progress of PCEUS in the diagnosis of SLN in tumors with lymph node metastasis as the main approach.
